Has this ever happened to you? đ
Youâre getting ready for a night out, your fav playlist is blasting, youâre having a bop around your room, and youâre feeling better than good, you're feeling flippin' great! đđ»
Youâre almost ready to walk out the door but stop to ask for a quick picture. You're feeling the outfit, and your eyeliner went on perfect (win!) - you neeeed a pic, so you throw your phone to your friend, boyfriend, parent, whoever.
Aaaaaaand, just like that the moments gone.
UGH, you cannot for the life of you get ONE picture that you like of yourself so you take the phone back in a huff and head out the door feeling frustrated and sh1t about yourself.
20 minutes ago you were in a great mood and feeling so good about yourself. đ«Ą How has this just happened?
It seems so ridiculous. And your right, it is - stick with me...
Youâre on your way to work and you look up⊠There in front of you is the PRETTIEST sky youâve ever seen. You whip out your phone and quickly try to get a picture.
The picture that youâve taken does not measure up to this sky and doesnât capture what you can see with your eyes. Huh?
You put the phone away and decide âItâs the camera, it canât capture how beautiful it truly is. Forget it!â
And youâre right, it can't.
So, why is it that when you canât capture you and YOUR beauty that it is YOUR fault? đ€š
â Stop giving your confidence and power away.
Having been there umpteen times myself, I know how soul destroying it is and thatâs why these are the exact kind of beliefs that I help women to shift and overcome with my coaching.
You are beautiful, inside and out. Don't let your thoughts fool you.
